ANCHOR/REPORTER
MY STORY
Thanks for checking out my site. I’m an anchor/reporter with nearly five years of on-air experience in Columbia, SC for the market’s #1 station WIS News 10.
I currently serve as the weekend evening anchor for WIS, and specialize in breaking news coverage, enterprise reporting and impactful community stories. I’ve reported across major beats in Columbia: crime, courts, politics and transportation. I’ve secured high-profile interviews, including with Rep. James Clyburn hours after President Biden dropped out of the presidential race. I also contributed award-winning coverage of the Alex Murdaugh double murder trial in 2023.
I lead the station’s weekly “Road to Repair” franchise, an ongoing investigation into South Carolina’s infrastructure, delivering real results for local communities through accountability reporting.
Prior to transitioning to on-air, I worked at CNN’s Washington bureau for three years, supporting national political coverage and contributing to major stories including the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 election and two impeachment trials.
My first political reporting experience came as a Statehouse correspondent in Boston, covering the legislature and cultivating sources on Beacon Hill.
During college, I worked for The Daily Free Press, Boston University’s independent student newspaper. I eventually served as its sports editor, which included managing a 40-person team.
Storytelling has always been part of me. As a toddler, I would grab my dad’s microphone in our makeshift home studio and speak gibberish. I found journalism through a passion for writing, and fostered my desire to tell stories at BU.
Born and raised in Braintree, Massachusetts, when I’m not chasing a story you can find me watching the Red Sox or revisiting 90s sitcoms like Boy Meets World.
I’m driven to tell stories that matter and give a voice to the community. Everyone has a story, and I can’t wait to tell it. Click around to see samples of my work and resume reel.
